Description

Sizzling Herb-Infused Garlic Oil Spaghetti bursts with bold flavor—garlicky, aromatic, and perfectly tossed for a savory, comforting delight.


Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti

  • ⅔ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

  • Optional: fresh rosemary, oregano, or basil

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Grated Parmesan or pecorino (for serving)


Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente; reserve ⅓ cup of pasta water.

  • In a saucepan off heat, mix olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and optional herbs.

  • Carefully pour the reserved hot pasta water into the oil mixture to release flavors with a sizzling effect.

  • Add drained spaghetti to the infused oil; toss thoroughly.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.

 

  • Serve topped with Parmesan and extra herbs.

Notes

For extra depth, try adding lemon zest or anchovies. Adjust chili flakes to your spice preference.
