Description

These Easiest Ever Lemon Curd Bars are a two-ingredient dessert dream—bright, zesty, and irresistibly simple. Made with lemon curd and crescent roll dough, these sweet and tangy bars are perfect for quick gatherings, kid-friendly treats, or a last-minute dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) lemon curd
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  • Unroll crescent dough onto a parchment‑lined 8‑inch square baking pan, pressing seams together to form one even layer.
  • Spread lemon curd evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and the curd is set.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack (about 30 minutes), then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Once chilled and firm, cut into bars. Optionally dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • For a crisper crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding the lemon curd.
  • Great when served chilled.
  • Add lemon zest or a dash of sea salt for extra flavor depth.
